• Killed the cold 'select leave type' dropdown after Alexis said it felt like filing a tax return. Replaced it with policy emojis and a live balance preview — you watch your days tick down as you pick the dates.
• Fran logged a sick day and our integrity trigger rejected it. Auto-approved leaves weren't writing an approval date, so the trigger ate them. The trigger was right; the auto-approve code was lying. Fixed the code, kept the trigger.
